            Re: Men's Footwear

Can anyone tell me how oversized the Cdiem lace-up army style boots are? I'm usually a US 9.5 - 10 (usually a 10 in sneakers), and I seem to be about a Japanese 27cm and a Euro 42-43. Could I fit into a 41.5 in the laceup army boots?

Minya, this boot in particular runs true to size. I'm a true US 8.5, and the 42 in this boot was just slightly too big, and the 41 just slightly too small.

Er, I meant to quote the Carpe Diem lace-up boot above.

There is no price on leform.ru where I got the picture from. They are cool, right? They are probably not that expensive in Japan.

                        Re: Men's Footwear

I have a lot of trouble liking slouchy boots these days (except on darkanimal [:P] ). Everyone in Japan wears them and the look is getting really tired on most people.

Faust, how much are the Ann boots you posted retail for in America? I really like them and they fit me but the price here is close to 1300$.

Andrew, would you consider them in tan leather? If so, what is your size?

Deuxmille, I believe those Ann's boots hover in the $750 range, could be even less. I'll take a look at the tag next time.

Yes, I would, I believe in Undercover sizing I am an XL. [11.5]

Its funny, I hear this alot, were people say the look is getting old or over done. Yet I live in Los Angeles, and the idea of a man wearing anything other that a tennis shoe or a leather lace up is completely foreign. I tuck my pants in when I wear my Varvatos boots or my F+Baker boots, and I feel even this is too 'edgy' for some people. Don't know where I am going with this, just thought it was interesting imagining one day walking around and everyone I see is wearing $1300 slouchy boots, haha.

Aside from the pair you have Faust (THE pair), Ann's footwear never did it for me. Those posted up above (for $750 no less!) are generic! Nothing about them makes me think "ah... so perfectly Ann" whereas the pair you have is lovely and distinct.
