^ Agree with the shirt length, BSR. It will certainly look better with a longer one.
As for the soles, I rather like their visual weight here, since there is something really heavy and almost clumsy in the cut of those pants and the way they bunch at the ankle.
Slimmer pants are not so interesting in that case - they are visually flat and leave the coat alone to do the job, making its rather theatrical aspect a little too obvious, especially when matched with a white shirt.

Actually, Mail-Moth, the soles are certainly Ann-approved, if you look at her shoes offer, there are big combats with huge soles (the punk source of inspiration). But, lese majesty if you want, I prefer Ann without the military touch (and never liked THE boots, but Faust will fire me if say that too loud).

Slimmer pants would go with lighter boots, like your MA+, but that's a kind of combo you already did several times.

I'm really curious to see what dropcrotches would look like when paired with this coat and those kind of shoes...

The proportions on this fit seems to be a tad bit off, in little ways, all over. Pants seem strange on the thight (just a tad), the hem difference seems too wide (just a tad), shoulders seem too tight (just a tad), et cetera. Maybe it's just the angle?

Yeah the left thigh is sticking out a bit from the twisting, the hems do look different due to the stacking but it could be the angle as well coz my left leg is a bit in front of my right.

Maybe try tucking them into the boots to create a more fluid look?

Hey B, like this better than the pics with the jeans tucked into the boots. You're making me want to trade my FW09 for SS10 twist jeans since they're more generously cut. Didn't notice it was two red tops till Beau brought it up though.

Thanks, this is actually this first time I havn't tucked these jeans into my boots, just wanted to see if it would elongate my legs more. Funny you should mention the 2 shirts because after I zipped up the jacket, I decided I wouldn't wear the red long sleeve under the jacket anymore because I like to zip the jacket up with about 2 inches unzipped at the top but the neck hole is too deep on the long sleeve and I didn't like the look of just flesh under the jacket around the neck area.

Edit: I just realised what I typed might make more sense if I mention the first layer is a tank.
