Nah, I think the - pardon me - "sloppy" use of the boots fits with the skirt and the laid-back nature of the top as well.

i really liked the sandals in that look christian perfect for this transition period in the weather, i agree its still not cold enough to wear full on boots which would have also complimented this outfit nicely.
