rilu - i like this. volume/weight of jacket, stole and skirt is set off very nicely by simple black stocking and footwear. also like the echo of bow on bag and bow on boots...

all in all very pretty and looks comfortable too

I twist it into a long tube and then tie a loose knot at the front. Probably not as elegant as most scraf-styles, but it's the only way I can wear it practically.

i am not normally a fan of so much shine but those lavins are beautiful.

thank you, and rilu too. the lanvins are indeed special. i've never been a big fan of oxfords (aside from the tao cdg studded oxfords ), and always thought they seemed a bit too business-like, but the moment i laid my eyes on these i knew they would be the perfect compliment to most of my cdg/junya/yohji stuff. also, i like them because they remind me of junya fall 2009 (i still get goosebumps every time i look at that collection...), except more wearable for me as i tend to find junya's oxfords a little too pointy for my tastes, although they look good on the runway.
