Alarm clocks, what do you guys use? I have been using my phone for awhile now, but would be nice with a sleek and minimal digital alarm clock that's not so big.

Haven't seen this news on SZ yet. One of my favorite non-clothing shops to visit in NYC.

Does anyone in NYC know if it's reopened yet?

I think it worked out well with the Daphine and Kartell,

Now I have a craving for the Eames Hang it all my apartment will be child, adult, child, adult, child, child. :) Although it bums me out that it's so much cheaper in the US.

Haha, feels natural to direct it at the wall, pretty strong light. Glad that I got it with a dimmer.

Yes, I saw it. I like that one too. Funny, that one is priced as the original is in Sweden. If I should be able to pick it up here I guess it would come down to like €350

Some very brutal pieces. Remind me of Rick's neo-Celtic furniture.

I dunno if this has been descussed here already, but I just found out about the Italian designer collective called Resign, and some of their stuff looks pretty neat

This domain may be for sale!

They have a whole big text about their process and concept and whatever, which is not uninteresting so you should read it if you want

here are some images I liked

I realise a lot of this looks very DIY/shabby chic but I quite like it. makes me feel like I should start marking my own furniture from scraps

^^ you should start making your own furniture!

but I do think it does look a little ... makeshift.

I remember some of Christian's work that he posted has the reclaimed appeal but in a much more robust manner.

Does anyone have experience with furniture by Mats Theselius?
I'm lobbying hard to inherit this chair by him from my grandmother at some point.

                            But in this colourway

                            Gorgeous!

What do you think about the Copper Shade from Tom Dixon as a single ceiling lamp in a 30m2 room? Most times you see it in a herd or over a dinner table.

Right now I have Norm69 from Norman Copenhagen, the first thing it did when I mounted it was to break in the inne tube, so I'm just waiting for the whole thing to fall apart. And it's also a pain the ass to change bulbs and it's a dust machine, hard to clean etc.

So I'm looking to replace it and I have always loved Tom's copperlamps

i don't like that they (and the mirror ball ones) are out of polycarbonate. feels cheap, gimmicky and unappealing - and scratches easily.
