Those look so nice, and the cut looks like it would work far better for me than the other giant pair of heavy cotton LUC pants I briefly owned.

      Does Leclaireur stock LUC?

great description mike and Mal.. Cheers for that.. They look quite beautiful, the seams position and type really spikes my interest along with the cotton, as mentioned "Killer Details". I have never really looked into LUC pants, always passing them on as the widelegs always seemed to be the ones being sold in the marketplace and just have no place for these kind of things in my wardrobe.

thanks for the posts mike appreciated :D

What exactly did Zamb mean about the pockets being sewn on the inside? Can you explain that for me please

they are sewn th way mens blazers are sewn, in bespoke tailoring, where the stitches that hold the pockets to the body of the garment are internal, as opposed to "topstitching" which is the way jeans/ denim oants are traditionally done, so there are no visible stitch lines on the outside of the pocket, even though its a Patch pocket.

The only Zam Barrett denim pants in existence (owned by a fellow Sz'er, he can reveal himself if he so chooses) is done as a hybrid of this technique and and the traditional denim type stitching........
presented in a really cool useful, packaging bag.

Try Lazzari, they have a similar pair.
The Stitching looks different but it's
hard to tell from their photographs.
Are you afraid of women, Doctor?

when I said "semi-low rise" I meant "semi-long rise", as in slightly drop crotched.

@ DHC any chance of a preview of (the rest of) your f/w buy?
