She is the only designer that I really wanted my wife to build a relationship with her clothing. My wife is very conservative, covered, if you will, and i really believe that her clothes would fit here well...................now she's gone.
I think she will be back though, in one way or another.......... hopefully when she comes back the soul will still be there.
This also leads me to an interesting observation.................Not a Single one of the true Belgians of her era remains in business today, absolutely sad.................“You know,” he says, with a resilient smile, “it is a hard world for poets.”

Truly breathtaking design, such a pity about her departing : (
I would like to see some of her design IRL one day, I haven't had much of a chance to see much of it yet.. Maybe I never will.
