I think I just look at Geller's line differently than others. I don't look at as I do something like Jil, Raf, Ann, etc. Geller could do without the whole runway exposition and I think it would fit the company more. But I see why he wants to do it, especially with this being his second season under his own name.

I guess what I'm saying is, it's not necessarily runway 'worthy' but it's still something I like. It's accessible, creative (some pieces, not all), and his line brings something to the table that others don't (price point).

But then again, I could do without 50% or more of the NY fashion week designers....

Got the invite for Robert Geller's Fall 08 show: they're printed on handkerchiefs, which are apparently all the rage right now as a fashion accessory in Japan. So looking forward to this, it's reportedly a really big collection this time (although I'm uncertain if he's doing a show or another presentation). Will start a new FW08 thread right after the show on Feb.1...

Fall stuff came in last night. Not to be a completely bias fanboy but it's so so so so so so soo good. Show's going to be amazing. I'll just say the accessories are dangerous! But I will have to keep my mouth shut for now [85]

Because he knows my buying tastes, Robert told me I'm going to be poor next season. I live in excitement and fear. Peter, Robert didn't say, but is it going to be a full show, or just a big presentation?

Seriously George, I was sitting at the desk today as the buyers were coming in and going nuts over it and I literally thought to myself..."How am I going to figure out how I can pick up every piece in this collection" I literally want to buy every single thing almost. So so so dangerous!

I don't know the specifics of the show, but I believe it's going to be a standard models going down the runway type of thing. Space is beautiful. The collection is pretty big. Going to be good!

time to start saving. i picked up a good number of things from the first fall collection and i'm sure i'm going to be getting even more this spring, not to mention next fall, etc...

I need some help finding a SS08 cotton fencing jacket, I emailed RG but didn't get a response. I also called all the US retailers and none of them will be getting it in my size. I need it in grey and a size 44, any help would be appreciated.

Only place I have seen this piece is in Japan, did it show during their runway? I don't remember seeing it... Good luck with your hunt.
