I preordered the skinny engineer boots, the price is very attractive. What makes this particular version at such a low price compared to the previous season enginner boots?

I kinda want the new silk mohair knit because of the clean neckline . Everytime I wear the 09 F/W version, I have to be extra careful because I am scared to rip apart the neckline . Now that I think about it how am I suppose to clean silk mohair , handwashing it doesn't seem to be an option because the garment looks like it can pill nonstop when wet.


And here is a little side track does anyone know if there are any brands that make L/S that has similar length to julius L/S cutsew. I can justify the price of julius leather jacket/twisted denim/leather boots but sometimes I wonder do I really have to pay 200 bucks to get a cotton/silk rip L/S.

Just search through the earlier pages of this thread.
You can see them worn on some of the runway outfits and I think Christian posted a few shots from the showroom and those boots were lying on a table among other things.
They're also available in brown and gray.

I am getting them in gray. The leather is quite thin and light which makes them super comfortable and easy to wear.

Fabric / composition? Also, it appears shiny - is it? Which would already dismiss it from my 'want-to-cop: coat' list. Other than that, fit looks awesome...

cotton cupro kersey which has a subtle sheen to it, that coat is on my to cop list as well.

It's the same fabric as the FW09 suit. It definitely does have a subtle sheen, but it isn't at all a cheesy sort. Just beautiful.

Also note that the sample made for the runway has longer sleeves than what the final production will have.
