I'm most familiar with their home fragrances...I've used the Sapin (holiday edition), Cypress and Firewood. They do have a personal fragrance line.

I believe there's a Diptyque store in San Francisco...if it's like the one in NYC, the staff should totally be helpful and make suggestions.

The diptyque store in SF is on Maiden Lane just off Union Square. They started out (at least in the US) with amazing candles that burned forever, and then branched out to fragrances in the last 5 years or so. Neiman Marcus also carries.

I've been looking for a new scent since I decided to stop wearing Comme des Garçons scents (I liked Odeur 53, Drycleaning, and 3).

Now I've narrowed it down to the follow:

        Ulrich Lang - Anvers 2
        Creed - Silver Mountain Water
        Heeley - Cedre Blanc
        Escentric Molecules - Escentric 01
        Escentric Molecules - Molecule 01

        Any thoughts?

I'm looking for something that isn't too overpowering and something that will be produced for awhile.

I decided to stop wearing them because I ran out of the ones I like and I don't really wear CdG clothing anymore, so wearing the scents kind of felt weird. I also started to get overwhelmed with her constantly growing collection of scents.

So, is smelling like a church a good thing?

I guess I'm just looking for something a little more unusual.

Why I love CDG airport? Because besides the usual run of the mill shit, they sell Annick Goutal, Serge Lutens and L'Artisan Parfumer. Sampled several of the latter and was thoroughly impressed.

Also got the Damir Doma for Six Scents as a present - very delicious with nice incense notes.

I don't know Annick Goutal, but L'Artisan Navegar, Mechant Loup, Safran Troublant, and Dzing all have a spot in my cabinet, and Serge Lutens Cedre has become my daily scent lately. Sounds like a fantastic change from the usual airport horror.

/\ I liked the Loup and also Tea for Two. AG Petite Cherie is one of my all-time favorite womens fragrances.

I'm actually wearing tea for two as I type this. I had a sample of Navegar which i mixed with Burning Leaves by CB. I loved the combination of dewy vivid leaves with dead and cremated ones. I miss Navegar. I need to get it.

I usually wear Kyoto, but the last couple of days I've been trying out the Nasomatto Black Afgano. Still not sure if it suits me, but the scent itself is lovely.

stopped into CB I Hate Perfume for the first time today...very interesting store. Although I was thoroughly impressed by the variety of different notes all bottled up individually, and the concoctions made of them, I honestly can't say I thought too many of them were actually wearable. Not too sure about using water instead of alcohol, but there were definitely some interesting scents. In the Library was a particular favorite. To me it smells like walking into Mandalay Bay casino in Vegas, but to each his own I suppose!

Have any of you guys tried the MMM fragrance? I need to test it eventually, still surprised they came out with a scent.

As for myself it's a Knize Ten day.
