Yes, MKK is available in the export bottles for a limited time. I find it plush and soft, sort of an exaggerated skin scent. Very warm and vaguely animalic.

For those of you in NYC, Takashimaya is going out of business and they have a boatload of Santa Maria Novella, L'Historie de Perfume and some other things at 40% off.

Yeah, it was a nice store - a quiet new york secret. Of course everything was ridiculously overpriced, but it made me want to go to Japan every time I'd step inside.

I'll miss the tea salon most of all. It was the only peaceful respite in chaotic midtown. Great food.

Same here. That's where I bought my tea from. Not sure what to do now.

                • I think I have a new crush. Messe de Minuit (sp?) by Etro is amazing. It's supposed to smell like midnight mass, with stearic candles and incense, and it really does. so solemn and warm.

^ ive sampled that one and ur rite it does smell like church , at 1st i was like " nice " but then i had to wash it off fast . even tho the incense isnt too heavy like the cdg ones it reminds me too much of my altar boy days and i didnt rly like the memories of incense , like swinging that censor around down the aisles and watchin the smoke . nowadays the smell of church incense repulses me or i love it , theres no in between its weird

                        CDG Wonderwood

                        Wonderful new scent from CDG.
After years of using only CDG 2 MAN, finally found something else I like. Really !

I really need to check out more of the CdG lines. I am totally not a scent guy and their Rhubarb from the Sherbet series is the only thing I've ever liked enough to wear on the regular. Really light and balanced with a tiny bit of masculinity on the backside.

I like Yatagan right now - dry, not fresh or cool smelling, and it reminds me of Cel-ray.

Has anyone owned any six scents fragrances? What are your thoughts on them?

I really love their unqiue approach and how a few of their scents smell on me

Don't own any, but I like the Damir Doma (actually, I do own a sample of that), the Gareth Pugh and the Henrik Vibskov. New series should be out any day (or is it out already?).
