I'll be honest, when I was briefly introduced to Raf Simons at the Prada show earlier tonight, I had no idea who he was. Some random British dude? A French guy maybe? Oh, that's Raf Simons! You don't often see one designer representing at another designer's show. Too busy, too competitive. Kind of like Lil' Wayne showing up for a Jay-Z concert. Anyway, Raf picked a good one. Arguably, Miuccia Prada's best show in years. We'll see what he does with his own label later this week in Paris. Don't bet on Miuccia being there.
