Ah, it's been so long, too long, since I've had a moment to share. Here's a roundup of a few of my favorite purchases this year.

Brought a new Harnden Men's Blazer into my life, full linen and "White" (creamy with a nice stripe), perfectly suited in style and substance for this drought-afflicted clime (aka LA). From the current SS15 season.

This ma+ single-fold long jacket in elegant silk (52%) and linen (48%) is a stunner, framing a stately, slim silhouette and making everything in proximity appear regal. From the current, SS15 season:

I'm deep on Augusta footwear, but this is my first pair of A Diciannoveventitre trousers. The feel of its weave, the tact of its stitching, and the movement of its supple fabric provides both character and versatility. Object-dyed vintage linen with leather belt loops. Thick, forever-pants.

Speaking of A1923 footwear, I've been very pleased with this workboot from AW15. The shape is my Platonic ideal for a workboot. The color is labeled "Nero," but as Cecchetto close-watchers know, last season's black was rather eggplant. I've rather enjoyed the hue, all told, though I wasn't sure on first blush. (Cheers to Eck, a fellow owner -- at one point, anyway -- with whom I traded long email missives about this particular shoe/hue.)

Finally, I bought my mother this ma+ bag, the iconic single piece of leather pleated shell, because she is a lovely soul who deserves lovely things. The color is scarab green, which has suddenly taken a high slot on my list of "favorite greens" (I have no such list, but if I did, scarab would be up there!):
