Seller is saying it is 95% nylon 5% wool outer and 50% cotton 40% rayon 10% silk lining with a down fill and RY zips.

I'd love to make the purchase if it's legit.

Calling all BBS experts...

I have owned only a couple of BBS pieces so cannot tell if the following item is real or not, but I'm leaning against fake. I currently have only one item to compare it against (AW13-14 Zipper I F099). Item in question is a Zipper2-F099 hoodie from AW 14-15. I noticed the zipper I has a space in the itemcode like: ZIPPER I-F099 whereas the hoodie has no space like: ZIPPER2F099. Also it uses a number and the old vest uses an I (or maybe the 1 was faded due to washing)

What makes me think it's fake is that the text is different from the older BBS zipper. For example the text on the AW14-15 one says:
II became the symbolic leitmotif of a 24/7 lifestyle.
While the AW 13-14 zipper says:
II became the symbolic leitmotif that represents a 24/7 lifestyle.
There are some more textual differences but I don't know if BBS sometimes changes its texts in the tags.

The leather backtag:
AW14-15 - It's a very stiff, almost like wood, tag with a clean cut/pressed II logo

AW13-14 - This is a more supply tag and I'm able to bend it easily. The II logo looks more handcut. Mind that this vest is also washed several times. Also the silver end was stamped 3 times whereas the AW14-15 is stamped only 2 times.

Also the material used for the piping seems different with my older BBS vest:
AW14-15 - A sort of ribbed stretchy cotton

Do any of you guys own either the AW13-14 zipper 1 or the AW14-15 zipper2 hoodie or both to confirm details like these? I would like to know if I should get a refund or that one or both are legit. For now I'm confused.

Rest assured. All these pictures are legit. The only suspicion is "Picture of old backtag", but I assume that's only because of wash and getting distressed.

Yes, the text does change.

If you became more familiar with BBS garments, you would be able to tell at first sight. Pretty easy.

Tags look fine to me. The fabric tag text did change to "of a", and the tab on the rear tag matches other AW15 stuff (very stiff)

Alright thanks guys! I only had some season 1/2 stuff and the first iteration bamba 2 and 3. Glad that the hoodie is real. Otherwise we should be worried, because the construction is very very good haha..

Definitely cancel the transaction. The tags on the jacket itself are a huge red flag.
