BTW, Mattotti has the showroom picture of it and they have pricing and everything, so hopefully that means it didn't get cancelled.

Hmmm, not quite sure I exactly know what you mean but Junya Watanabe made a killer motorcycle leather jacket with a belted closure at the bottom for this A/W season.

Something like this, but with pockets and not as AWFUL. bad example, but something similar but high quality.

Ahhh, I see. I think Geller did a waist belted leather jacket...unsure of the quality and price though.

I seem to recall the sample quality was great, but haven't seen production yet. And while it has more pockets, it's not a tie belt - it buckles. and it might be a bit high on the waist, as Geller did it almost empire. I'm not sure how much it will retail for, but I'm thinking around $1,300 - $1,500.

He's great and very helpful. I was trying to find a Raf Simons coat in 2006 and he was very accommodating. Alas, no one ever received production of the coat in North America so i never made the purchase...

help finding.......nicolas andreas taralis? seen some mens last season, but it sold out quickly, and haven't seen it since (the store didn't restock mens). had some really nice looking blazer and jeans, w/ leather piping. i liked what i saw, and am hoping to see more of taralis.

Ha, I should've mentioned SZ when I stopped in Komakino. Just browsed the sale racks and found a nice pair of Raf trousers in my size, too pricey for me at $600 on sale.

On a side note, more and more recently, I've been seeing people working things tied around the waist. I always loved that one pair of Raf pants that came with that weird knitted thing, does anyone have any suggestions: i.e. things they do, things they've seen, things to buy? I sort of like the look of this, but something textured and black still sounds better in the long run.
