Boris the Blade coat, Margiela t-neck, Helmut Lang pants with knee insert, CDiem boots, no-name bag (which has gotten more compliments than my Helmut, CDiem and Julius bags put together, hmmm)

Menswear-style inky blue/black wool blazer is current season Dries Van Noten. The cut is oversized and the lines are clean. No embellishment, no closures. God, you wonder how such a minimalist piece could even be Dries, with nary a sequin or floral vestige to be found. Actually, the A/W '09 women's collection was noticeably sober, fusing some rare modernity into a line notorious for being anything but.

'Death' muscle shirt underneath. I cut away the unflattering crew neckline to soften it up, and removed those typical t-shirt sleeves. For some additional length, I layered an old white tank underneath it.

Helmut Lang black cotton sateen leggings. I'm not a fan of HL, but these are the great leggings, I'll give them that.

Boots are Jil Sander. Surprisingly. A silver zipper on each side runs the length of the boot. Taking the zips down an inch or two changes their whole vibe: suddenly you have a boot that'll beat some ass. Lined top to bottom in black shearling fur (who needs socks!). These were a good score, and have already paid for themselves. Almost..
