the rick jacket i suggest you look into is the motorcycle jacket with the epaulets and long arms. i bought this jacket last season in size LARGE and sold it to a friend who's 6'4 and 52 chest. it was too big and long for me (the waist was too low and the sleeves hung over my knuckles like i was a gorilla) but on him the jacket was perfect: the sleeves lined up and the waist was dead on. i think this particular jacket in xl will be great for you and the style is classic. they have it at luisaviaroma.

I have this jacket in washed lamb and it was the only S I could wear from that season, I needed x-small in the other jackets I tried so I wouldn't take a chance if I were him. Note that the fit is more relaxed on me than on that model and the sleeves do go past my wrists if they're not bunched up.

Oh and the jacket was obviously pinned in the back for the pics, it's not cut to be ultra slim fitting with some waist suppression.

It's a mistake to assume that these labels that are getting so much press are money making machines and are a part of a huge business. They're not. Robert is literally about 3 guys in a tiny 400 sq foot office. Tim Hamilton works from his apartment. If designers can't maintain their business, you're going to lose great talents in fashion pushing new ideas and aesthetics.

Ripoffs hurt designers because it dilutes the brand in general. The argument that 'bargain hunting' has the same effect is ridiculous.

i hate defending myself, and i can seriously totally understand that people might just ignore my inane ramblings, but if you don't - please do read it all.
I explicitly said that small designers are a whole different thing, hmmkay.
And ofc course bargain hunting doesn't hurt the designers, it hurts the shops. But i'd say if you have qualms about ruining someone's buisness you'd better apply that to everyone involved.
