Agree. Second one does it for me. It has almost a painting-like quality. But I gotta say, those fish heads are one of my all-time fave BB posts. BTW enders, are you aware that your hoes have gone missing?
Fade– your dual tiled wall shot on the former page is my favorite from you of any. It's because it's a total optical illusion for me; at first glance it looks like a concave wall with a ridge down the middle, then it goes back to looking like two separate walls, one in front of the other. I like it on so many levels.
Mortal– as much as I like your bevy of bovine, that telephone pole shot with the all the wires is fantastic. And the agave plant is perfection.
Taco–you know how I feel about Miles. I'll stop gushing..
fenrost– cool time-lapse series. Totally original idea for this thread!
tomatous–I love how you throw down a completely random offering, not unlike tossing a little grenade into the church choir..
And Bubu– that HK skyscraper shot of yours on the last page had me doing a double-take. I was this close to posting an uncannily similar shot I took in Hong Kong– same vantage point, same outdoor conditions–hell, might even be one of the same skyscrapers, LOL.. Well, it'll have more relevancy posted now than any other time, so here's my 'companion piece':

I'll continue with the theme, HK skyline:
"AVANT GUARDE HIGHEST FASHION. NOW NOW this is it people, these are the brands no one fucking knows and people are like WTF. they do everything by hand in their freaking secret basement and shit."

And in the vein of the children's game telephone, tomatous' post, like a word errantly introduced into the chain of communication, must nonetheless be countenanced further on down the line...
and so, my take on wires from the interior of an abandoned astronomical observatory:
I am not who you think I am

Well what are the odds. The thing that really makes your 3rd shot great for me, Lowrey, isn't so much the commanding skyscraper front & center; it's that tiny little person you captured right below it, no larger than an ant, that gives so much power to the surroundings by contrasting them with simple human frailty. I love the irony.

nice corsair, i like the first photo; the photographic equivalent of a pavement record
interest1 wicked humor in the sequence of those photos.
edit - just double checked with my girl, the lowrey photo #3 isn't anywhere near her former workplace but the streets around that area all rook arike anyway. But when I showed it to her, she was still hit with the same immense wave of nostalgia for all those times i picked her up outside similar looking stairs and went to dinner or a movie, as i got upon initially seeing it, so thanks Mike, your photo has touched us deeply ;-)

thanks mortalveneer, ledger, interest.
lowery, the small figure with luggage really makes that last pic.
interest, looks like someone is location scouting for the next twilight movie.
ftb, hk looks just like taiwan, although i've never been to hk.
ledger, reminds me of cloud city on planet Bespin.
is it too late to celebrate cny? here's a late submission.
these two kids basically took over the parade...
