I haven't dabbled with any eighth-generation consoles, but Bloodborne may be the title to break that streak. I love From Software's no-bullshit approach to the action/RPG/adventure genres, going all the way back to the King's Field series.

Had so much fun playing Bloodborne last night, learning combat mechanics, exploring the setting and such. Can't wait to play more tonight. While I do enjoy other single player games that are more cinematic and easy this is really refreshing to play something challenging. + feels rewarding going back to same fights, staying on your toes and learning the encounter. Great game.

I´m really enjoying it. I never played Dark/Demon Souls but Bloodborne´s environments, setting and creepy enemies really got me interested, that and the faster attacks.
It is really challenging but as I knew from watching/reading about Dark Souls, it´s trial and error. You go fight a beast and you die and you go back again and you die again until you finally figure it out and come out triumphant.

I thought that game was the best game of last years and i don't even like Lord of the rings mythos.

But thats just my opinion

Already dropped Destiny few weeks ago, so is it advisable to first play demon's/dark souls prior to Bloodborne? Or could I just jump into Bloodborne fresh without missing something?
