yeah definite props to Dos Toros Taqueria...

    that place is awesome

think I mentioned on the food post before... but always worth mentioning again El Maguey y La Tuna

Other question : anyone have a good recommendation on a cobbler/shoe repair place, got a couple of pairs of carpes that need some TLC, used to go to Cowboy Shoe Repair on Prince, but it looks like it was closed, permanently, when I was down there last weekend

    thx -d

minas was such a cunt to me when i questioned his work last time they rubber heeled my new julius combats. they colored polished the beautiful stacked heel to match the rubber. i asked why they did this and he chewed me out. then his daughter came out apologizing and tried to fix the problem.

            never going there again...

i won't judge anyone who can't afford $2k+ rent but living in jersey and working in ny has some tax benefits from what i hear. what exactly i don't know, but you should ask your accountant..

if jersey doesn't work out, i was going to suggest the west coast, but you just came from there..

LOL...I know it was not intentional, but after reading your post I got the impression you were trying to "suggest living in the west coast, commuting to ny for work"...ahhh thanks for that inner chuckle.

Some big wigs fly in from Boston daily. Also seen people commute from Philly. Americans are nuts.

Does anyone know of any local scarf makers? What about sunglasses? Making a gift list for Vogue Russia of all awesome things NYC, and blanking out on that one... zzzzz...
