Just read the title of the thread and it took me a minute to sink in. I was gonna say to start at a strip club.
I know some people who live in Jersey. They still pay out the ass and their area is horrible. And when I visit NY they never come into town to visit. May as well live in another city.

in the lower east side ive seen some businesses with trash bags that have Lower East Side printed on them and some triangle logo or something...i don't see them anymore though. wish i knew where i could nab some. anyone seen those? i wonder if other hoods have their own too. found that to be kinda weird.

Hey, me and my brother just got into the city and will be staying here over night.
We're thinking of heading out tonight and are looking for places to go. The thing is, I'm 19 but there's gotta be places that are 18+ and you get carded at the bar right?
Maybe some SZ:ers could recommend us some good bars/lounges/etc?

Usually posh places don't card. But it's fashion week, many of them are booked for parties or hard to get in.Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months - Oscar Wilde
