Finally got to watch Irina Palm - I think it was quite successful in Europe, but didn't even make a blip in the US. I thought it was very sweet.

Has anyone seen the new Fatih Akin's film, The Edge of Heaven? I am really looking forward to it - I thought Head-On was one of the best films I've ever seen.

About to go nurse my foot injury with an ice pack and watch Dune in HD!

I also love Head-on, a really wonderful film. Planning on seeing the edge of heaven soon. Surprised to see he's directing a segment for the upcoming New York, I love you. I wonder if it'll be any good.

oh man, accion mutante!

alex de la igleasia came to the philadelphia film festival a few years back to present 800 bullets and I ran into him at a bar after the premier. truly hilarious guy and an unbelievable drinker. unfortunately 800 bullets was no accion mutante (or day of the beast).
