This collection has the same kind of direction that some members predicted when they had their take of what an SS moody would look like.

Those prints look even better than the moody prints, these collections have been a new take on the rick owens silhouette and you can see the idea brewing in vicious and now we've taken the step a little further.

this collection speaks to me in a way that is more in tune as to what I personally thought rick was more like versus something like mountain which I thought barely had any personality whatsoever.

Well, the lyrics certainly went with the fertitlity theme of the collection title.

At the end of the day, it's just more of the same (shorts and tunics for the most part) with some slight variation sprinkled in here and there ( like the wider cut shorts, the jeans? panels on the tunics), good styling, and - thankfully - some colour apart from cockroach brown and dark reds/blues/whatever dark. Made me think of Scorpio and I loved that collection. I know it's a summer collection and those are always pretty weak when it comes to menswear, but apart from the colour and the harness (I hope he carries that over to the womenswear) there isn't really much I like about Rick these days, sadly.

Hats off for managing to make the shoes even more hideous, that was Raf Simons levels of bad.

getting strong biomorph vibes from this collection, bugs and lots of crawling feet.
but maybe that's just the adidas soles. strangely delightful to see rick using these hideous soles true to themselves - interpreting them as some kind of strangely beautiful abomination.

apart from all that: just rick being rick. in black and dna dust, it will all be good.
