thanks faust, that was very informative. although, the first opening lines read a little like ad copy.

i've always liked how sarti scarves move like jello when folded over. sort of wiggles like a layer of fat..

^The one in the left picture in the last page right? I really want that too!

Thanks for posting Faust, you're right about the cashmere, silk blend. I have a scarf in a cashmere, silk, wool blend and it is out of control.

Agree, it's probably the best one. I think BSR has it, and Christian has it in another color combination.

              Mine is black/grey and Christian's is brown1/brown2.
I'd like to see the blue one...maybe I'll custom order it...

And you know what? It's also one of the cheapest from FS!

I know I may have Armand on my side, but I can't compete with zboss.

I don't suppose anyone knows of any Australian stockists for Faliero Sarti scarves? (mens or womens) Going back a few months ago I was in l'eclaireur in Paris, and the range was incredible. More depressing, really, considering my financial position at the time.

I've never been too taken by scarves. So many seem bulky, itchy or just too bland. This example and others in the thread are really stunning. Elements isn't too far from me. Hopefully I'll have a chance to see/touch a few pairs soon.

Is there anywhere online that compiles what was going on during various seasons? These seem timeless, so I'm assuming most of the seasons are modifying and refining what's worked previously, but I'm curious to see how things have developed.

Some of them get produced season to season, others change. I am going to ask if I can post the lookbook pictures for FW10. Standby.
