Also Margiela did not belong to the "Antwerp Six". He was already working for Gaultier when they decided to go to London.

Don't get me wrong, I love H&M and they serve as a great crutch in last minute situations, they've helped me out with countless numbers of black pants while on tour or holiday. I also blow out the crotch within a month or two of wearing them. It is what it is, fast fashion. I actually picked up a few of the Marni pieces for shoots that didn't even last through the summer...

We'll see how the clothes hold up, and even at the projected price point it's still pretty steep for their target market. I guess I come from the school that I'd rather pay $300 for a $1000 piece that's marked down and made well than pay for shoddy tailoring and construction. Most here would agree.

As of yet the only collaboration that's held up surprisingly is the Jill Sander collection for uniqlo. I snagged a suit that fits like a glove.

And Carmen, as for you musical tastes, you can have Lana all you want. My younger sisters love her. I'm more into a less fabricated sound. To each their own... have a peek at Zola Jesus.
