If you like his writing style, then no doubt you're going to read a loooot more from him. You should read Forbidden colors next, Yuichi is one of the most fascinating protagonist ever created.

Has anyone read the Thomas Piketty book, Capitalism in the Twenty First Century, yet?

BSR, bukka, what's his reputation in France?

Care to expand? I've contemplated this one for years.

aside - every tab I open seems to have Piketty mentioned.

I`ve looked into his most notable work to see where to go after I`m done with this one. I`ll check out your suggestion. Thanks, man :)

He's not as popular here as in France. Didn't read it yet but apparently, he's much more of a phenomenon overseas than here.

Translation got pushed by the NYT but the dude has been linked to De Villepin AND the socialists so he's quite present.

You're right. I was just saying that I didn't hear much about him here in Switzerland

Edit: I also read that he was linked to the socialists, and that's why I thought it was weird that you linked him to lefigaro in the first place. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1SvDqKA_UQ ??

A nice "review" by Branco Milanovic (World Bank) to be published in the Journal of Economic Literature.

Joyce's Ulysses. Have read about a third of it on two previous occasions, but school and other obligations got in the way both times. See if third time's the charm.
