Depends on the item. If it's an overcoat it is likely, however if it's a jersey or more tailored piece it's most likely going to be best for a 44 although that's also variable. Also, in the past three collections Ann has stopped cutting stuff so oversized.

In other words, I'd reccomend that you request some measurements.

i've been tempted by those boots on the corner but i have money wrapped up in julius boots right now so i cant purchase anything. i really liked the way they looked on the runway though and for less than $600 new i dont think you can beat it.

I'm in Canada, so I can't buy from thecorner...but now that you've pointed out how cheap they can be had there, I'm no longer interested in the pair I was looking at elsewhere.

This is the 09 version and am planning to buy it.
I am ultimately a sz 46 in most things and im looking for a fit like this: http://ateliernewyork.com/2009/08/10...bidjan-saberi/

              Should I get a size S or M?

I hoping somebody can help me.

I need some serious Julius leather specialists.

Looking at this Julius Jut Ram leather, size 2

I'm generally a large 48, sometimes just go up to 50 because I'd rather something be too big than too small.

Is there any way that a size 2 in a julius Jut neck Ram leather would fit me comfortably? It's 48-49 pit to pit (which is generally what I look for) and the length would be suitable for my 6' frame at 66/67 cm.

Don't know what year/season this is from but basically wondering if anyone has experience with this particular jacket that can confirm or deny that it fits smaller than the measurements would suggest?

I'm 6 ft. tall, about 158 lbs at last check. No real muscle mass to speak of. Would I be shrinkwrapped in this? I have a size 2 jacket in Julius that fits (cotton) but I thought it was a fluke. I usually have to go with size 3 in most Julius pieces, size 3 or 4 in VA.

beardown, i own that jacket in a size 3. i am 6'1 145 lbs, a slim 48. and the 3 fits me perfectly. in my opinion, the size 2 would be too small for you. i think the size 2 is best for a 46.

                    Dreamkiller!

Just kidding...I appreciate the input. I just measured a Rick leather in XL and the measurements are really, really close. The only real difference is that the Rick has shoulders and longer sleeves.

It's like the Twilight Zone happens somewhere in the garment between the actual measurements. I do feel like I'm built like E.T. at times when I try to buy things from dimensions.

I'll be back at my house tomorrow so I'm going to take the Julius jacket I have in size 2 and see what makes it fit but I'm guessing I'll have to just wait for an available option.

wow, im surprised that a Rick XL can have a 48-49 cm pit to pit. i believe you would be able to wear a size 2 and zip it up, but i think it will look skin tight on you, in a bad way. you wont be able to wear anything other than a t shirt, and it may be uncomfortable when you sit down, for example.

based on our height/weight, i think im a bit slimmer than you and 48 cm pit to pit is the lowest I can go in terms of jackets that fit. The one jacket I own with a 48 cm pit to pit fits pretty slim already. Any more and it wouldn't look good.

I should also mention that this jackets narrows slightly as it goes down. The size 3 I own has a 50 cm pit to pit, but measures 49 cm wide at the bottom.

Julius measurements can be deceiving...partially because some people suck at measuring, and partially because they have no shoulders...even for me, who's built like a 12 year old girl.

Anyway, you'd be better of with a non-raglan model imo...the newer seasons are much roomier than the old in that regard.

A general CCP footwear sizing question, if I dare..

From reading it seems the derbies fit slightly larger than boots in the same size; what about the drip sneaks? Same as the boots, same as the derbies? 3 sizes smaller than tagged in typical 'fuck you' CCP fashion?

Anyone care to lend a hand?

After a lot of experimentation like others here with CCP boots and derbys, I would say go with your derby size. I think another member mentioned that he takes the same size for both derbys and boots, which is generally the case for me as well.

The toe box on the derbys and boots are narrower than the drips so you will need to keep that in mind if you sized up to avoid smashing in your toes.

I have a fe-male 39 in the hockeyes. I'm undecided on whether a 5 or a 6 in derbies would fit me (and indeed sneaks if you're suggesting they run the same as derbies). My hockeyes fit pretty perfectly. I'm inclined to think a 5 would be good as I like my footwear snug, if they're a little loose I'm not happy..

You may also want to take into account what type of leather between kangaroo, bison or horse as the kangaroos will break in much faster and stretch a bit over the horse. Get the insole and outsole measurements and go from there. The 2010 bison derbys seem to have resolved the dreaded heel lift that past season derbys suffered from.

I think one of the members here has a pair of white drips on eBay in a small size.
