guidi experts... what size 795 cordovan boots should i get if i'm a 9 CCP derby? i realize guidi's are meant to stretch, but i'm thinking cordovan is tough...

I'm trying to figure out my size in a AW10 Rick Owens Mollino. I'm a large in the SS10 Intarsia, and the XL in the Mollino seems almost identical in terms of the measurements I've found for it.

Can anyone help with the sizing comparison?

If you're large in Intarsia, you really should be Large in most others, including mollino.

yeah i was a bit hesitant to list my CCP size since carol's sizing differs from shoe to shoe. i think i'm a US11/EU44, so I'll take your advice. thanks eternal. :)

How do Ann D sandals/shoes run?


I'm looking at the Gladiator Sandals specifically.

The sandals are size 41, and I wear an 8-8.5.

I've got skinny feet so if shoes tend to run wide, I can slip into the smaller sizes.

Does anybody know how CCP Side-zips from 2007-2008 do run?
I am a CCP 10 (EU45 = US 11,5) in his 2009 derbies and wear them with insoles. I am wondering if I could fit CCP 9 Side zips. Any help appreciated!

Are recent Julius twist-seams still sized like they were a few years ago, or have they shrunk significantly? My pair of size 4 twists is basically a size US 38. Is a 3 now going to be a size 34-36? or ...?

To answer part of my own question:

F/W 2008, twist seams:

Waist: 38"
Thigh: 12.75"

S/S 2010, twist seams:

Waist: 35.5"
Thigh: 12.5"

qualitatively, the newer jeans feel about a size smaller down to the bottom of the thigh. The big difference is below the thigh. The '08 jeans had something of a flare (have been tailored so I can't provide original measurements). The '10 jeans continue to narrow all the way to the hem. Not skinny, but definitely quite slender/slim.

my experience with a lumen s/s tee is that yes, it runs a size small, so size up a size from what your normally wear..

it varies a bit between cut, season, material etc.

I'm a slim 50 and am able to wear a 50 for example in ss10 t-shirts. some older pieces have run slimmer.
