Ribery copied John Terry and kneed a player in the back after play was over. Should have been ejected. The non-call on the german keeper near the end was interesting. Definitely looked iffy either way.

Nonetheless, a fun game to watch. The final, sadly, looks like it's going to be crap. 4-5 starters on each side banned.

Chelsea go for the jugular? That is just a team of thugs. They have no attacking flair whatsoever. Under AVB they were trying to develop an attacking style, but di Matteo just reverted to the boring, brutish style of the past six years or so. They shouldn't be able to bully around Bayern the way they did Barcelona so I hope Bayern crushes them. In addition to my disdain for Chelsea, I think it would be nice for Bayern to win the Champions League at home.
