Probably the best game I watched today, there was a nice balance between both teams, although in my opinion Ghana played better but at the end the scoreboard is what counts.

No doubt about this. A big win for the states though. Klinsmann has to be questioning leaving Donovan home after Altidore pulled up lame. It's going to be tough for them to score.

Argentina looked a bit suspect to me and I think Nigeria could shock even though they only came away with a draw.

Nigeria and Iran both played horrible.. Iran is the #1 in the Asian FIFA Ranking and Nigeria the #6 in Africa, but damn they lacked technical skills and insight in the game.. I guess a lot of teams are playing under pressure that they forget what sport they are playing.. -_- I haven't seen both teams played this bad, at the qualifications both were strong.

Did you knew Algeria was the #1 in Africa? their match is going to start against Belgium, sounds promising. Thoughts about Brazil - Mexico and Russia - South-Korea?

Even if he had to play Tim Howard up front leaving Donovan out would still have been a good decision. You just can't walk out for a year without explanation and expect to walk back in.

Best match thus far was Italy - England, as far as tactical play goes.

Really disappointed by all of the African sides thus far bar Cote d'voir. Ghana has a better chance of getting out their group than Nigeria imo. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Throughly enjoyed that Spanish massacre, i hate that team. It's piss poor and way overrated. Especially Xavi with his inflated passing statistics from passing side to side. Btw Pirlo and co had the most passes and high completion rate in the history of World Cup games.
