Yeah, it felt strange not seeing Gigi there, but Sirigu did really well. I know it's been a while, but I'll always miss seing Pippo Inzaghi in the squad. He'd been there as long as I can remember and it's not the same without him lounging around the penalty area and making dubious goals from close to offside.

He doesn`t want to be in the bench, which would be his place even if had been called to the team. And he complains a lot when he`s there. That`s what I`ve been hearing. He whines too much and it`s not good for the team to have someone like that.

That's true, but this entire World Cup feels a bit different with a lot of player I would like to see missing, but I had the same feeling for 2002 and then 2006, and 2006 - 2010. Generations though, I need to get used to it but they're getting more cocky each year.
