I haven't handled CCP in person and I'm not sold on the aesthetics even though I think he's got some great pieces, mostly pants.. My query is if you think CCP design and quality is that much better than other artisinal designers to justify the often extravagant prices?

^quality in general seems almost an absurdist thing at this point. the zipper came off my first ccp boots in entirety after 4 wearings. attention to detail, exclusivity, consumer behavior drive price in general far more than "quality". a logo piana cashmere coat could last a lifetime but you won't see many here wearing one
