For people in the Seattle area who might be looking for some womens stuff..

Someone had mentioned to me that Nordstrom in downtown had brought in Rick Owens and Margiela womens stuff this season and it is just sitting around, to be put on sale. I went to go check it out today and found a rack of both brands. Cardigans (including a super thick wool double zip one), pants, jackets, and dresses from Margiela. Tanktops (I think around $110?), long sleeve ribbed shirts (around $120), short leather jackets, dresses, and skirts from Rick Owens. There were also some Junya Watanabe riders jackets, in both leather and wool.

I wish I had some extra money to pick something up for my girlfriend but I'm broke for the rest of the month..

Wool ones were around $750 and waxed cotton (not leather as I had originally assumed) were around $650.

does anyone know whether PH goes on sale at IF? i doubt it but i had to ask.

i remember CDiem/L'Matlieri/Linea did go on sale few years ago......

Perhaps I was there at a bad time, but if was pretty disappointing to me at the beginning of october.

i THINK IF had ph on sale at the same time when some of the cdiem pieces were on sale. i'm not 100% sure though.

No, they don't discount it. They put CDiem on sale because they needed to clear it out.

That's right. I guess my post didn't really clarify that.
Sometime this week I'll go check their men's selection, but I'm pretty sure it's only the womens section that has anything worthwhile.

i'm REALLY REALLY surprised that the seattle's nordstroms picked up margiela and rick owens. however, i'm not surprised that it hasn't done well either. marios in seattle also picked up rick owens and number (n)ine, but the buy is awful.

hmm, what about A, do they have certain brands that go on sale and others that dont?

^ Label Under Construction, MA+, CCP, CDiem and Augusta are excluded from sale. I'm not sure of any other exclusions.

Also, RO leather jackets were excluded last time.

Mona Moore is having a super sale on all stock from past seasons--most shoes are around $100. A few pairs of Dries, Margiela, and Pierre Hardy left, as of last night.
