I don't mind them, but perhaps here the width + contrast is slightly too much. I'd wear them, but wouldn't mind slightly darker laces.

I just heard from one of Augusta carriers that those just come with another lace which is indeed dark and slim.

I thought that shoes from earlier era (1940 and earlier or so) quite often had "sneaker laces", no?

            Wholecut... oxfords?

Proper oxfords- not suitable for pairing with a dinner jacket, but wonderful nonetheless.

Fair point... maybe I should find one with destroyed grosgrain lapels?

... and to argue that his blazer & coat are NOT sooo obviously 'influenced/lifted'???...

... nice fit on the pants though ;)

Those pants are imo the most perfect pants on the market. Not to baggy, not to slim. Can be used for almost every occasion. Only problem is the pricing . Maybe he's copying or get some influence from other designer but he does it well atleast

Are they the selvedge jeans without belt loops? No loops is a deal-breaker.

hmm..seems like he's wearing a belt on the pic. But I think they are the same as the ones without beltloops

Better pictures of the pants on the Antonioli site:

No belt loops but I'm pretty positive that Simone is wearing a Paul Harnden belt in the pictures.

I'd heard he's another who dresses in Harnden (along with Galliano).

Morbidly curious to see how he interpret/assimilate Harnden shoes into his own collection...
