Yeah as you've mentioned before I can't say I even see Rick out in the wild more than a few times a year in downtown Manhattan.

Starting to think I'm a magnet for guys in Rick footwear. I've run into three dudes with tech runners on, two of which were dressed completely unremarkably otherwise (like, black skinnies and a graphic t-shirt). In my office lobby a week ago I ran into a gentleman whose (great) outfit was punctuated by a pair of silver Geobaskets. I stopped, turned around, and asked him directly if I was not mistaken. He looked at me like I had three heads, but thanked me politely when I complimented them.

The only one time clothes I wear were recognized outside of stores which sell these clothes was at Koya ramen in London when I was asked if it's RO footwear.
Ah, and another one was recently when me and my girlfriend were pulled out of the queue to Akira Yamaoka concert by the security guard who told us VIPs can bypass the queue. Well we were just regular ticket holders but I hasn't refused the invitation.

On the contrast I've seen a lot of people dressed nicely in Paris but mostly close to fashion famous places/stores so they probably were just visiting it.
